Mr. Robert Johnson, Esq., with over 25 years of global legal, business, franchise and crisis management experience is SG’s Managing Partner.
Previously, Mr. Johnson was the Franchise Relations Officer for McDonald’s Corporation’s Central Division and represented the company internationally in Europe, Australia, Latin America, Canada and Asia. He was the named advocate for the McDonald’s System and the leader responsible for strengthening the relationship between McDonald’s and its Owner/Operators. He was also the fixer, charged with crisis management and conflict resolution working closely with the Company, its Owner/Operators and Black McDonald’s Owner Operators, in particular.
Mr. Johnson was recognized for managing McDonald’s $55 Million Worker’s Compensation program and implementing programs that saved the corporation well over $60 million dollars.
Mr. Johnson is known as an energetic and engaging speaker and community leader with a deep passion for diversity, social responsibility and leadership. He travels the country teaching minority career development, intercultural learning and entrepreneurship skills and is often a keynote speaker on the conference circuit.

Mr. Johnson is a recipient of the 2009 Chicago United Business Leaders of Color Award, the 2008 Council on Legal Educational Opportunity Legacy Diversity Award, the 2006 National Eagle Leadership Institute and Career Focus Magazine Eagle Award, and the McDonald’s Corporation 2003 Shining Light Award.
Mr. Johnson received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of law and dual degrees in Economics and Business Administration, and Sociology and Anthropology from Knox College.
