Marvis is a Managing Partner of The Solomon Group LLC, a management-consulting firm that provides expertise in business management, organizational transformation, and business intelligence. Prior to The Solomon Group, Marvis was an Executive-on-Loan from The Coca-Cola Company with the Women’s Foodservice Forum. In this role, Marvis focused on the day-to-day management of existing partnerships and on generating new relationships. She was also directed the development and implementation of sales strategies to successfully attract and retain corporate partners for the program.
Marvis’ sales management expertise was developed over 18 years in leadership roles with The Coca-Cola Company. Most recently, she was Director of National Sales for the Wendy’s International Business, covering the Midwest & West Regions, Canada, and International Markets. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Marvis worked for Kimberly-Clark, Bank of Boston and Dun & Bradstreet in a progression of sales and finance roles.
As an active Board Member, Marvis serves as Vice-Chair of the Healthier Diet Business Management Committee for the American Heart Association, Board Member of Women’s Ministries at Judson Baptist Church, and Program Director for JNJ WCCC. Supporting the Women’s Foodservice Forum for 15 years, she has served on the conference, ambassador and virtual events committees.
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Marvis graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas Tech University. She has lived throughout the United States, and has called the Chicago area home for over 17 years.
